Park Tool School

Announcing Park Tool School at Trailhead

The Park Tool School® is taught by Certified mechanics at Trailhead who are experts in repairing and maintaining bicycles. The Park Tool School® manual we use is the BBB-4TG, the most current and in-depth Bicycle Repair manual in publication. Class tuition includes a copy of the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair (BBB-4). Classes are a combination of lecture and hands-on.

Class Descriptions, Dates and Fees:

New Rider Bicycle Maintenance Class $95.00

 Class Description: Overview of entire bike. Lecture style class with emphasis on checking equipment and being aware of when it needs to be replaced. How to set up a home shop and what tools are necessary for bike repair. Park Took Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair included in tuition.

Novice Bicycle Maintenance Class $235.00

          Class Description: Hands-on class that guides the rider thru a bicycle tune up. Emphasis on working on your own bike, becoming aware of the condition of parts and what needs to be replaced. Step by step demonstration of how to tune your bike, how to set up a home shop and what tools are necessary for bike repair. Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair included with tuition. Bring your own bike and that bike can stay at Trailhead for the duration of the class. Parts extra. Any parts needed to complete the tune up will be invoiced at the end of class. Certificate of Completion earned at end of class.

Expert Bicycle Maintenance Class $435.00

           Class Description: Hands-on class that guides the rider thru a complete bicycle overhaul. You will take your bike down to the frame; opening headset and bottom bracket, opening wheel hubs. Emphasis on working on your own bike becoming aware of the condition of parts and what needs to be replaced. Step by step demonstration of how to completely rebuild your bike, how to set up a home shop and what tools are necessary for bike repair. Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair included with tuition. Bring your own bike and that bike can stay at Trailhead for the duration of the class. Parts extra. Any parts used will be invoiced at end of class. Certificate of Completion earned at end of class.
