This pro-level XC flyer pairs new FlexPoint Pro rear suspension with a superlight full composite frame and race-ready geometry. It's the ultimate weapon for technical cross-country terrain. Engineered with a full composite frameset, this 29er has 100mm of rear suspension travel and 110mm up front. The single-pivot FlexPoint Pro rear suspension makes room for shorter chainstays to improve climbing capabilities and overall agility. Other updates include new 29er-specific XC race geometry with a longer reach and a slacker headtube angle plus a lightweight, stiff composite wheelset options for quick, precise handling.

The geometry of the Advanced composite frame and swingarm was developed specifically around 29-inch wheels. That means shorter chainstays, a longer toptube, and just the right angles with the headtube (64.56 degrees) and seattube (76.36 degrees). We gave it an updated Maestro rear suspension system with 146mm of travel. The trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm deliver an active, super plush feel on the trail.

In the low setting, the head tube gets slacker and the bottom bracket drops, ideal for confident handling at higher speeds. The middle position is neutral. In addition, a new headset flip chip adjusts reach so that riders can easily achieve their preferred positioning. Rear wheel options All models come with 29-inch front and rear wheels, but the flip chip lets you opt for a mixed wheel setup including a 27.5 rear. The stock 29-inch rear wheel optimizes stability and roll-over capabilities, while a 27.5 delivers a more agile, snappier feel and more saddle-to-tire clearance in the rear. Some riders favor this “mullet” setup for riding steep, technical terrain.
